Apple Pie Quinoa Porridge


1/2 cup Quinoa

1 cup Water

1/2 cup Apple juice

1 whole Green apple

Cut in half. 1 side grated the other cut into match sticks

1 pinch Ground cinnamon

2 Dates (chopped)

Clarks Carob Fruit Syrup to drizzle


  1. Place the quinoa flakes and water in a bowl. Stir well and soak overnight in the fridge.

  2. Remove from the fridge, drain well and place in a saucepan with the apple juice.

  3. Stir over a moderate heat for 2-3 minutes until thickened.

  4. Stir in the grated apple and add a pinch of cinnamon.. Pour into a bowl and top with the apple matchsticks, dates and pecan nuts.

  5. Drizzle with Clarks Carob Syrup and serve with a dollop of Greek yogurt (optional).
